Few days ago while browsing one of the Web 2.0 directories I stumbled upon the SingShot. It turned out to be one of the most entertaining sites I know. You can go there, register , choose a song and record your own version of it. SingShot is an excellent on-line singing community that one can easy develop an addiction for . I have always liked to sing and despite the fact that I do not have much talent I usually sing along while listening to my favorite vibes. Wide variety of artists are included and it is likely that you will find a song to sing along , trough I wish that there was a way to add or at least suggest new songs to be added. Other than that the interface is really cool – both the instrumental and a demo vocal parts can be heard – and as a result an ideal working karaoke machine ( even with the back vocals ) is available for free online. By now I have recorded quite a few songs and I have truly enjoyed the process of recording every single one of them( 13 in total at the time I am writing this entry) . Actually you can even listen to them if you want , but be warned that since I have never been to a real karaoke club and SingShot is the first place where I am able to … share my singing with the world – you could damage your hearing.
